I need to write this for me. I am hoping that I will be able to get through a lot of the other blogs I have lined up to write, and quickly, so that this one will be buried underneath them all and I can move on. I’m struggling to write it to be honest, but I think it needs to be done
Then I remember. I’m going to have to ask if someone will pass me those parts, and can someone fetch me this tool, and I know I know; it’s all moan, moan, moan; be thankful etc, and I am. I’m just frustrated. My life has led me to a point where my mind is still lit up like a firework show, but my body just will not comply. I’m exhausted, reliant, and I feel needy. What I really want to do is spring into action, and enact all of my crazy late night, neuron fired firework party ideas, into real, tangible, robotic genesis.

Disability. No one chooses it. No one finds it easy. These are all obvious things, and yet I have had such issues with it, that it can often consume days trying to work out where I went wrong, and how and when I might fix it. I have not adjusted to it in any real sense of the word.
On the 19th of June 2021, we visited Aberystwyth University to take part in their brilliant BeachLab:relocated robotics event. BeachLab is a fantastic event that is usually held at the Bandstand building on the promenade/seafront in Aberystwyth. It’s a venue that enjoys quite a lot of footfall/traffic from people out and about on a sunny June day, and it offers plenty of chance to engage and speak to the public.
